Les Cavorques
Remains of two constructions that formed part of a Roman villa located close to the Ter River, which was partially excavated in 2012 and covered over again for protection purposes. One of the constructions, located right next to the road from Anglès to Sant Julià del Llor, forms part of a funerary monument composed of two chambers: a vestibule and an area to contain the funeral receptacle, probably a sarcophagus. It has been dated to the 3rd century AD. The other construction is located higher up. One wall measuring almost four metres in height has been preserved. This building must have formed part of the residential area of the villa, which functioned between the 1st century BC and the 5th century AD.
