The Hazelnut Tree Track links up the towns of Santa Coloma de Farners, Brunyola and Anglès. It passes by along the way the numerous hazelnut tree plantations in the district, and if you choose to visit during the first week in October, Brunyola stages its Hazelnut Fair, which attracts people from all around with an interest in this traditional local produce. We suggest following the route from Santa Coloma de Farners, a town known for its thermal waters and “teules” biscuits, one of the most famous sweet foods in the district, about which more can be learned at the Trias Biscuit Museum. From Santa Coloma de Farners heads towards Brunyola, with the route taking in the hermitage of Mare de Déu de Serrallonga. In Brunyola you can visit the castle and church of Sant Fruitós, and take the opportunity to have lunch, as there is a restaurant there. On resuming your journey you will first pass through Sant Martí Sapresa, followed by Sant Pere Sestronques. Before arriving in Anglès you will need to follow the El Carrilet Greenway route for a few metres..
