La Casa de la Paraula is a municipal art exhibition room in Santa Coloma de Farners that hosts contemporary visual art exhibitions, generally by local artists from La Selva but occasionally by national and international artists, along with a permanent exhibition devoted to the poet Joan Vinyoli. The facility is housed in the Can Gironès building, dating from the turn of the 20^th century, and has a regular schedule of artistic, literary and musical activities. It is also home to the city’s tourist information office.
