One of the three main exhibition areas of the Ethnological Museum of Montseny – La Gabella focuses on the first settlers and is composed of two rooms: one devoted to the ancient settlement and the other to mediaeval society. In the room devoted to the ancient settlement we can discover how the first inhabitants of Selva lived. We are taken on a journey through the Prehistoric, Iberian and Roman periods in the Montseny Massif, in the form of information panels and objects unearthed in various settlements, such as Feixa Llarga (Arbúcies), dating from the Late Bronze Age (1200-800 BC), the Iberian settlements of Turó de la Mora or Buixalleu (Sant Feliu de Buixalleu), and the Late Iberian settlement of Can Pons (Arbúcies), dating from the 1st century BC.
