Chapel of Sant Pere Sestronques
Sant Pere Sestronques is a single-nave chapel with a semicircular apse at the east end. It was built at the end of the 10th century but retains some traces of an older pre-Romanesque building dating from the 9th-10th century, including the horseshoe-arched window on the north façade. The semicircular arched doorway is on the west façade, which is protected by a porch and which also features a loophole. The bell gable also forms part of this wall. It belonged first of all to the ancient parish of Sant Amanç and then to Sant Martí Sapresa, a situation that continues to this day despite the fact that it is located in the municipality of Anglès.
The chapel was restored in 1994 by the family of the kidnapped pharmacist Maria Àngels Feliu (some of whose members are from this parish), which had made a diocesan pledge to fund the work in gratitude to God for her release.
