Church of Sant Llop de Viabrea
Although the 1606 refurbishment of the old Parish Church of Sant Esteve de Viabrea led it to change its patron saint to Sant Llop, to whom an altar had been dedicated for some time, its Romanesque elements (a nave terminated by a semicircular apse at the east end) were to a large extent respected.
As such, if you make your way to the little hill surrounded by forests where the church and its small cemetery are located, you feel transported back in time, but not to the 17th century when the alterations were carried out but rather to the 10th and 11th centuries when it was designed and built. The walk is short and very worthwhile.
